This article explains how to log in to Ans using the new login method. The login method will apply from September 11, 2026.
Logging into Ans
1. Depending on your exam location:
- Go to the URL: ans.app;
- Select the Ans tile on your Chromebook, if you receive one to take your exam on.
2. Click on Log in with your school account.
3. Select Leiden University from the menu. You can also use the search bar to find it.
4. Enter your email address on the login screen.
Please note: Your email address consists of your s + student number, followed by @vuw.leidenuniv.nl.
Example: [email protected].
5. Enter your password.
6. You are now logged in to Ans.
7. Always shut down your device after taking an exam to automatically log out of Ans.
