I forgot my password. What now?

Tell the supervisor that you have forgotten your password. The university staff will create a temporary new password for you. The new password is linked to your student account. You can then log in with your ULCN email address and the temporary password.

Please note: the password is valid for only 15 minutes.

What should I do if the Ans page crashes?

Do not reload or close the page! Alert the supervisor.

How do I use Schoolyear for a BYOD exam?

Usually when you take a test on your personal laptop, Schoolyear is activated. Schoolyear is an additional fraud prevention measure that ensures that you cannot open external websites or documents during the test. All websites and documents that you need to access are entered by your teacher.

How do I create a digital test?

The Ans support page contains instructions on how to take digital tests. You can also watch a video on YouTube about taking a test. During the test, you will receive instructions on how to log in. Finally, you can always contact a supervisor if any unexpected problems arise.

You will receive an access code when the test is taken on a personal device (BYOD test).

Where can I find my exam?

Go to https://ans.app/users/sign_in and log in with your UCLN account. After logging in, you will be taken to your personal Ans homepage. The exam is located here.
